A 25 year music love affair
Folk Clothing are launching a new label in spring 2020 called Magic Castles. Influenced by rave culture and the early 90's Magic Castles is laid back, psychedelic, irreverent, hedonistic, youthful and liberated with a touch of the DIY punk aesthetic throw in. I was tasked with creating a lookbook and some initial social content on a super tight budget.
Authenticity was key. Clobber was dished out to a bunch of friends and each were handed a disposable film camera. Their task, to document their day at Field Day Festival. This raw, in the moment operation provided the raw ingredients for the project. Loose, cut n paste graphics were applied over these images to create the look.
